When you say you used a paint gun do you mean the dye was airbrushed? and if so is that the reason you thinned your dyes down, so you could layer the colour? (sorry I know absolutely nothing about applying dyes with an airbrush/gun) Thanks Shaun Quote

I like to spray 8-10 coats, so thinning keeps it from getting to dark. You can keep spraying until you get what you want. I also spray the Wyo-Sheen for a blocker when Antique Finishing.
