Members St8LineGunsmith Posted December 10, 2013 Members Report Posted December 10, 2013 Hello I have finally been able to get my laptop fixed so i can upload picture files so I thought i might showcase a rig i made last year The buscadero belt fits a 36"waist and will go down to 32" waist. The holster fits an1858 8"barrel Remington army revolver or a 1851 Colt navy or an 1860 Colt army Quote
Members Red Cent Posted December 11, 2013 Members Report Posted December 11, 2013 OK, explain the dye/stressed/old look. Is the rig single layer? Handsewn? Looks good and different. Quote
Members St8LineGunsmith Posted December 11, 2013 Author Members Report Posted December 11, 2013 (edited) the whole rig is 9 ounce unlined and the finish is Eco Flo antiquing gel rubbed on with a large dauber i used the same product on the flesh side and rubbed it in well to smooth it down The Eco Flo antiquing gel is an amazing product for this type of finish and is versatile enough to use for background inlay And the holster, Flask holder and bullet pouch is double loop laced. the belt buckle strap billets are saddle stitched to the belt.
