leatherisgood Report post Posted December 12, 2013 Hey everybody, I'm new here (hope i'm following the rules) and I'm interested in making a wallet pretty much like the biker style one from Tanner Goods. http://www.tannergoods.com/collections/wallets-1/products/workman-natural Does anyone have a pattern they can share with me? I saw the one for the basic biker wallet and it doesn't really appeal to me. I'd like to use similar leather and I'm also new at the whole leather working thing so I was wondering if you'd have advice one which leather to buy to get the same result. Thanks! mrdabeetle Report post Posted December 13, 2013 That is 2 pieces sandwiched together flesh to flesh. Make a rounded rectangle cut for the zipper, make a "L" shaped cut for the bill pocket. The card pockets are made the same way as in the wallet guts tutorial already posted here. Make a liner piece for the checkbook slit and stitch it all together. Pretty easy once you wrap your head around it. Make a mockup from paper and test it out.
