Members MonicaJacobson Posted January 16, 2014 Members Report Posted January 16, 2014 (edited) Hi all, I've been working on a camera bag, but I've run into a problem. The seam where the three corners meet at the bottom of the bag looks really tacky, and I'm not sure what I should do, or what I should have done to avoid the problem. Any advice would be appreciated! Tree Reaper Posted January 16, 2014 Report Posted January 16, 2014 The stitch is too far away to pull the pieces together. You could drop some crazy glue in the hole and clamp it tight, maybe consider a rivet if there's enough room for one. Quote
Members MonicaJacobson Posted January 16, 2014 Author Members Report Posted January 16, 2014 Ah yes, I see what you mean. I went back and found a bigger picture on that website and finally saw how they dealt with it. (http://ep.yimg.com/ca/I/yhst-80923275928354_2272_9466493) Thanks! I'm going to restitch it, and next time I'll just do what they did. Quote
Tree Reaper Posted January 16, 2014 Report Posted January 16, 2014 (edited) It looks like they just rounded the corner. Edited January 16, 2014 by Tree Reaper Quote
Members MonicaJacobson Posted January 16, 2014 Author Members Report Posted January 16, 2014 I believe their bottom layer is all one piece, which allows them to dispense with the three cornered edge altogether. A much better solution. Quote
Tree Reaper Posted January 16, 2014 Report Posted January 16, 2014 That could be, I can't make it out from the picture. I agree that would be a better solution, you know you have to make three of everything to get the one you want. Quote
Members MonicaJacobson Posted January 16, 2014 Author Members Report Posted January 16, 2014 Ha, that's slightly comforting. Quote
