Armor Making For Noobs

Hello all! Please forgive my ignorance but, I have always wanted to make armour but, I am not sure where or how to start. Would anyone here be as so kind as to direct me to information sources that can take a noob through the step by step basics of armor making?

Go to the main forum page use the top right hand box to do a search for armour. You will find examples of armour as well as tuttorials and patterns. If you search the patterns forum there is a mmidevil and fantasy pattern pack. Just yesterday some one posted pattern and how to for upper body armour. I would have to search for the link. SPingfield leather has or did have a book on making armour. Search youtube there are several you tube vids on making armour.

Be careful though whit patterns from The Armour Archive, these are patterns for metal armor, doesn't work exactly for leather.

Some of them were for leather as well, but you are right, most are for metal.
