Members jshill Posted February 6, 2014 Members Report Posted February 6, 2014 (edited) I had to produce a set of potion bottles quickly so decided to use some plastic bottles as the base and to cover them in leather. I made a card board pattern for the base and wrapped paper round the top of the bottle cutting it down to the correct size. I used the shapes I made as the pattern. Drew round them and cut the leather out Checked it fit snug. Did some tooling and antiqueing Attached the pieces together with some lace and realized I hadn't cut a piece to cover the bottom! Members jshill Posted February 6, 2014 Author Members Report Posted February 6, 2014 (edited) I made a bottom and connected it with lace. I liked the end result so I made a batch. I need to do some thing with the plastic tops eventually but these were made after some glass potion bottles were smashed and I needed them for the weekend so I'm pretty happy with them.
