WLG, I use 277 top and 207 bottom for everything I make. Forming holsters puts tremendous stress on the stitches but they hold. Isn't 346 an awfully big thread? I use a Cobra 4 and I like it.

The belt is deerskin lined. The deerskin soft lining will not show the "exit holes" like dry leather does. This picture was taken before I had applied oil to the front piece.

The belt looks wonderful. I think the 346 looks better. That is just my opinion, try I once, I think you will like it

Personaly i like the polyester thread A LOT better than nylon. I will use nylon when i have to but i don't like it as well.

I'm old enough to know that i don't know everything.

I just read yesterday that nylon will break down an break faster in moist/dry weather. think I will stick with poly
