Hi all,

This is my first proper stab at a 2 pen case, based on a Piquadro case with notepad. All hand-stitched.

The only thing I wasn't particularly happy with the was the back-stitching - which is a bit too obvious (shown in the final image).

Any suggestions/comments/questions welcome.

Thanks,

Ed

Nice case. I read about terminating hand stitching between the layers by going back after the last stitch and not going all the way through but going between layers with both ends, (saddle stitch), and then tie the ends together in a simple double knot. Clip it short and then tuck the tails between the layers. I've made about half a dozen knife sheaths and end them all that way now.

V/R,

Steve.

Steve: I did try to terminate the stitching that way, but couldn't get the needle between the layers - it felt like the needle was just going to tear through both layers at a steep angle. Probably just need more practice!

5 Spice: Cheers.
