Members JoeSnuffie Posted February 20, 2014 Members Report Posted February 20, 2014 I lost a few tools (I have no idea how since everything was in storage) during a move last year and now I'm a couple edge bevelers short. I found myself needing a really small one last night and remembered seeing someone on eBay selling a similar item a few years ago. This was really easy and fast. Quote
Members simontuntelder Posted February 20, 2014 Members Report Posted February 20, 2014 HAHA - That's nice. If you make another, please make a step by step pictorial or video of how you made that kitchen knife into an edge beveler. Quote
Members JoeSnuffie Posted February 20, 2014 Author Members Report Posted February 20, 2014 I'll ask my wife how many of the old knives I can have and I'll make a couple more tools. You could use spoons or forks as well but the knives of this set have the thickest steel where I made the cuts. We have too many knives, anyway. It's always the forks and spoons that seem to get lost. Quote
AndyL1 Posted February 21, 2014 Report Posted February 21, 2014 Brilliant! (and fancy. Haha!) I love seeing items being re-purposed out of necessity. Good job. Andy Quote
Members Alvetjarn Posted February 21, 2014 Members Report Posted February 21, 2014 I really love it, fancy, easy and excellent idea! *sneaks out to the drawers and checks for old untencils* Quote
