Andrew Chee Report post Posted February 27, 2014 (edited) I'm interested to hear people's experiences. Especially if you have some pictures of things you've made with it or just pictures of the leather. Please share. Thanks. jrny4wrd Report post Posted April 6, 2014 I occasionally use the milled veg tan. Yes, edging is difficult. In fact, overall the whole thing is a little more difficult. I do like the pebble look and so do many customers. The finish I use is montans pitch blend. It leaves it soft without the cracking as long as you use a little at a time. I am not really sure why I see it so little in this forum though. That's probably the only thing I don't like about it. I have had no problems with the tool I g at all although antiqueing seems to not slide off as simple and darkens the whole bag. I occasionally use the milled veg tan. Yes, edging is difficult. DavidL Report post Posted April 6, 2014 What type of things do you make with the leather? would mill tanned leather work well for wallets or more suitable for bags
jrny4wrd Report post Posted October 20, 2015 You can do the same stuff. I do clutches and purses. The only problem I really have with it is that since it is not as stiff barnishing the edges is more difficult. I lay it on a hard surface and use old jean peices. Im not quite sure how to copy pics on here from my phone though.
