Members RoosterShooter Posted March 12, 2014 Members Report Posted March 12, 2014 Can you thin Angelus #600 Acrylic Finisher with water to thin it out some? I put it on with a foam brush and it always leaves high spots, regardless of how much or little I put on. If I could thin it out it would migrate and settle a little before drying. Thanks. Quote
Members RiverCity Posted March 13, 2014 Members Report Posted March 13, 2014 Yes, its just like resolene. I mix it 50/50 in a soda bottle and either spray it, or some stuff i wipe it on with a sponge. Chuck Quote
Members BigJake Posted April 8, 2014 Members Report Posted April 8, 2014 RS, This is the finish I use the most on my cowboy rigs. A 50/50 mix with water is just about right on Oil dyes or drum dyed rigs. If you can justify the cost I suggest using an airbrush to apply it. The Pasche is the most economical and works reasonable well with a #3 tip. The Cadilac air brush, in my opinion is the Iwata, but more bucks than the Pasche. Most of my rigs are custom dyed and I use the airbrush 100% of the time for that task. Quote
