For your first shot man, looks good. If I were you I would be happy with it. I made my own seat without reading on here and literally only after spending like an hour reading tips and tutorials and stuff I saw massive glaring issues with my seat. That being said I love it and I'm happy with the way it came out but the extra info on the site will literally make a huge difference in the way you look at your materials and what you should take into consideration. The more leather you work the better they will keep coming out, keep it up man!

Not bad for your first try. The best part about doing leatherwork is that you will get better every time you do another project. So just practice, practice, and practice some more. Just read through the info here and apply it to your work.
