Tree Reaper Posted April 1, 2014 Report Posted April 1, 2014 Is there an illustrated list of presser feet options available for the cowboy 4500? Quote
Moderator Wizcrafts Posted April 1, 2014 Moderator Report Posted April 1, 2014 Yes. Go to the CB4500 page and click on the link in the right sidebar to see all available accessories in a pop-up window. There are links to photos in the pop-up window. Tree Reaper Posted April 1, 2014 Author Report Posted April 1, 2014 That's what I was looking for, thanks Wiz. Can you modify those or do the need that plated finish? Quote
Moderator Wizcrafts Posted April 1, 2014 Moderator Report Posted April 1, 2014 That's what I was looking for, thanks Wiz. Can you modify those or do the need that plated finish? They're polished on a buffer, not plated. Those feet and throat plates are cut from stainless steel. I have modified a couple of mine and buffed them up with green rouge on a medium cloth 6" wheel, on a grinder. Members SteelcityK9Cop Posted April 2, 2014 Members Report Posted April 2, 2014 Not to step on Wiz's toes... but I was not enjoying sewing with the enclosed center foot that came with the 4500 that I bought from Cowboy Bob.... I wanted to see EXACTLY where the needle was going to drop. So I called Bob and he modified one for me that had an "open toe". I can't say enough about Bob's service to his customers. Quote
Tree Reaper Posted April 2, 2014 Author Report Posted April 2, 2014 Steelcity, do you have a picture of that one? Thanks. Quote
