Members Jimbob Posted April 18, 2014 Members Report Posted April 18, 2014 Nice holster....clean design and well put together...the belt loop will cause problems, it is not wide enough to support that gun being so high and heavy....it will wobble and eventualle lean out....it would need a heck of a stout gunbelt to half way work....try a Avenger style holster design, or make loopspace wider...a fold-over sweat shield will work as a belt loop and can be made fairly wide...always thinking a one piece loop ( part of the actual holster ) will last longer and work better... You done well on the holsters, looks real good...we all just have to remember: If we make a holster, it has to be safe !! In a extreme situation the gun owner has to trust his life to his gear and weapon !! Jimbob Quote http://www.elfwood.com/~alien883 First it is just leather....then it is what-ever I can dream off...
Members Rohn Posted April 18, 2014 Author Members Report Posted April 18, 2014 I don't believe that it will not work with these belt loops, unless you have a Wally World belt. That loop is wide enough for my 1 3/4 inch belt to fit. How much wider of a belt do you think you need? Any wider will not even fit through jeans belt loops. I don't carry that particular gun but I do carry with that same type of belt loop every day and have no problems. Quote Rohn(John 8:32) And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. Members Rohn Posted April 21, 2014 Author Members Report Posted April 21, 2014 (edited) I like that BW stamp. Here is one I made using that same stamp. Edited April 21, 2014 by Rohn Quote Rohn(John 8:32) And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. (KJV)
Members dbitting Posted April 22, 2014 Members Report Posted April 22, 2014 Rohn, I do too. I didn't want to overdo the decoration on it. I am still new at stamping and learning how to lay it out. Quote
