It is made to fit the purse in Al Stohlmans book "How to carve leather" (I enclose a photo of the book). In the book is 4 patterns I think page 15, 17, 19 something, this is my version of it. In the cirkle there could be an animal, initials or a full name? I prefer carving and tooling all the acorns but one of the craftools can be used. I'ts hard as a rock in some places and "curl up" very easy *Grrrrrrrrrrrr* What ClayB tutorial are you refering too?
