Can you please explain what you mean? Im getting worried now that I am not building something good. Can you explain it would help me a lot. Thank you!

there was a pinn on somewhere on this web site that said you should not sew across leather like you did because this can make it weak when I sew a belt I just sew down the sides and that should be strong enough to whole your linner on hope this helps and also your belts looks good I hope this help

Sewing across a strap or belt, . . . literally perforates it like a tear off piece of a sporting ticket.

And, . . . unfortunately, . . . it can have the same result: the perforation becomes the weakest piece of the belt or strap, . . . and after a little time, . . . some wear, . . . and a full load placed upon it, . . . that is the place where it will tear just like a ticket stub.

Tomt is straight on in his remarks, . . . but other than that, they look good.

The belts look great, but everyone is right this can lead to problems. Most people continue stitching all the way around the billet, that's a good place to start and stop the stitching if you're using a machine.
