does any one know were some places are to get hand-made cinches. looking for that old buckaroo style. like those wide ones for

center-fire saddles and such. thanks

Try Darin Alexander at artcords. http://artcords.com/ He's been making cinches for a long time and is very interested in how they function. He knows about the widths of the old style and a lot of history about them too. Worth the time to talk with him.

I spent some time talking to Darin the other day. I doubt there is anyone that knows more about the function, design and construction of a cinch than him. It is a passion he has.
