Rohn Report post Posted May 15, 2014 Here are a few new holsters I just finished. They fit the snub revolvers like Charter Arms Undercover and Taurus 85. Comments and critiques are always welcome.
JLSleather Report post Posted May 15, 2014 A couple of design questions. You can say it's none of my business - no offense taken If it fits the 85, it should fit the S/W J-frames too. What's for the lower strap? And, why the shape it is? Personal preference, or something more?
Rohn Report post Posted May 15, 2014 It does fit the S&W #637 but for the S&W 60 we would need to add about 1/2" for the safety strap. Here is a picture of the back which will explain the lower strap. The shape of the holster is because it fits the gun. I'm not sure what else to tell you about the shape. One thing I like about this holster is that it can be slipped on and off without unfastening the belt and that is very convenient.
Wolf Tracker Report post Posted May 16, 2014 Those holsters are very cool. I like the idea with the strap. I noticed them on one of your previous holster posts and thought it was just a design element, but seeing the back makes it even more unique. It is a clever way to allow quick removal if needed. Very nice work.
Rohn Report post Posted May 16, 2014 Thanks for the nice comment Wolf Tracker. I have made several holsters with this type of design and the seem to sell very well, so I guess a lot of people like these.
