Members papaw Posted May 17, 2014 Members Report Posted May 17, 2014 Was just wondering if anyone here has used Eco-Flo Professional Waterstain Pearl. I've tried to use this with some red to get a nice hue coloring ( the red by it's self is fine the pearl by it's self or over the top of the red is streaking ) and I did get nice color but, issue is whatever I do it's streaks the leather. I've tried dri and also to dampin the leather, used spong both wet and dry, dobber both wet and dry, circles and back and forth, mixs of 1:1 - 2:1 still can't get it right. Any help please. Members TomG Posted May 18, 2014 Members Report Posted May 18, 2014 I just picked up red and pearl. Played with it a couple of days ago and as long as I mixed it very well, it seems OK. If I added too much and didn't mix well, I did see a little splotching in a couple of places. I think I did about 1 part pearl to 2 parts dye.
