dirtclod Posted May 25, 2014 Report Posted May 25, 2014 It looks real nice !! Have two questions though. Why did you punch such big holes in the strap and whats the rivet / chicago screw for in the cross draw ? Quote I'm old enough to know that i don't know everything.
Members RoosterShooter Posted May 25, 2014 Members Report Posted May 25, 2014 Did you shank these holsters? Nice rig! Quote
Members Red Cent Posted May 25, 2014 Author Members Report Posted May 25, 2014 Thanks. The screw (and glue) holds a tapered plug that orients the barrel to the front of the holster. Looks awkward if one molds the holster to close up the back of the holster. Never notice it holstering the handgun. Rooster, I think you are referring to metal reinforcement? No, those were wetted and baked some. The leather is pretty stiff and should hold shape. Quote https://www.facebook.com/redcentcustomleather?ref=bookmarks http://www.redcentcustomleather.com/
Members Red Cent Posted May 25, 2014 Author Members Report Posted May 25, 2014 Forgot the holes. I dunno. Different? Works. If the customer doesn't like it, easy to fix. Quote https://www.facebook.com/redcentcustomleather?ref=bookmarks http://www.redcentcustomleather.com/
