DANDTON Report post Posted May 28, 2014 Hello all my friends!! Here is LZpattern, Please allow me to introduce this machine that I developed! I developed this electronic power leather creaser machine after hundreds of try. I solved a big problem of the current products-----you can hold this machine in your hand as hold a pen, and I lower the price at all. We know Hermes's professional leather workers need electronic power leather creaser to draw decration lines or crease sharp edges. But even the machine they use has a big trouble, the distance between the handle and leather surface is very high, about 10-12cm, when you draw decoration lines and meet corners and curve places, you can't draw a correct line, maybe you will destroy your works. And the price of the machine that Hermes workers use is about 2000$ a kit.... very very expensive. I found a way to solve this problem, please look at the pictures. You can hold the handle as hold a pen! Very easy to control on the corner and curve places, you will draw beautiful decoration line easily even you are a new player! I developed 7 creaser heads:S1 is single blade;F1.5 is 1mm gap;F2 is 1.5mm gap;F2.5 is 2mm gap;F3 is 2.5mm gap;F3.5 is 3mm gap;E4.5 is 4.5mm gap. All of them can be installed on this machine and create your wonderful leather works! The material is stainless steel and copper. The price of the whole kit (machine, handle and 7 creasers )is only 275$, only 275$ you can get a professional Hermes worker style power creaser machine! There is nothing better than that! Tips:1. For the first or two time use, there will be smoke, after that, no smoke, that's because the anti-heat material finishes its crystallization.2. For vegetable tanned leather, the best temperature is 250°, for chrome tanned leather 400°+.3. Don't turn it on all the time if you don't use, only 3-5 mins, it will reach reasonable temperature to work.4. This machine is not art, it is a tool to be used, maybe it looks ugly, but it really works well. I had uploaded this machien to my etsy shop:https://www.etsy.com/listing/191086290/adjustable-leather-power-creaser?ref=shop_home_active_1If you need it, please order, it needs 3 days to be fnished and tested. simontuntelder Report post Posted May 28, 2014 Interesting. I'm always a bit apprehensive when buying something from China (sorry, but I'm being honest here), but I'm hoping that someone is a bit braver than I am and buys it and then shares his or hers experiences. Yes, you are right, some sellers are really very stupid, they are irresponsible, I hate those Chinese sellers too.
DavidL Report post Posted May 31, 2014 Is this product tested before its send out? Post a video of how it works? Add a leather cover onto the handle? Does it meet regulations? Hermes tool is made under strict conditions and tested by trained workers, can you offer that type of reliability or a money back guarantee. Somethings made in China are great, most, not so good. You have to prove somehow that this item is good whether through a video of you using it or reviews from buyers. I think its a good tool, only thing putting me off is that the handle is green which reminds me of dollar store products. The other issue is that if it stops working suddenly then I'm out 300 dollars.
Macca Report post Posted May 31, 2014 you even copied the sizing & names of the heads, straight from the French supplier. How about not stealing someone else's idea & work ? Oh & incase anyone is wondering, this is a very cheap soldering iron with some insulation around the handle.. http://www.ebay.com/itm/like/261476253875?lpid=
DavidL Report post Posted June 1, 2014 anyone one know where to get a 3mm creaser tip that can fit onto a weller soldering iron?
Macca Report post Posted June 1, 2014 anyone one know where to get a 3mm creaser tip that can fit onto a weller soldering iron? soldering irons tend to get too hot for creasing, even the temperature controlled ones. how about a traditional setup of burner & creaser instead ? VanDutch Report post Posted June 2, 2014 Hey guys.. Just buy the actual tools (well priced) and buy your own soldering iron... Doesn't matter if they are a copy.. They look well made and machined.

VanDutch Report post Posted June 2, 2014 Doesn't matter if they are a copy ? Nice. Doesn't matter one bit.. If people don't like copies let them spend $2K on the original...
Macca Report post Posted June 2, 2014 Yeah, I'm sure it doesn't matter to the company that spent the money developing the tool, they are delighted I'm sure that someone in china is chucking out sub par copies of their hard work. Tell you what, there's lots of sweat shops in India that chuck out leather bags for a few bucks, why bother supporting anyone else. As long as it's cheap, right ? Btw, that tool won't work well, soldering irons aren't controllable enough, it's been tried before. Still, it's cheap and looks similar, so that's ok.
