Members Stewcook Posted June 15, 2014 Members Report Posted June 15, 2014 I'm looking for a supplier of 1903 pattern U.K. Military brass belt buckles, not having much luck here in the U.K, does anyone know of any ? Quote
Members gary Posted June 16, 2014 Members Report Posted June 16, 2014 Do you mean the Garrison style for a trouser belt, the 'S' snake style of the earlier carrying equipment or the 'H' frame buckle of the later (later than 1903 so probably not) webbing equipment carrying belt? A picture would help everyone. Gary Quote
Members Stewcook Posted June 16, 2014 Author Members Report Posted June 16, 2014 (edited) Hi Gary, The buckle I'm looking for is the garrison style trouser belt buckle not the snake belt, I can get those from Abbey England. Struggling to find the simple 1903 one....just added a image in my gallery. Edited June 16, 2014 by Stewcook Quote
Members gary Posted June 16, 2014 Members Report Posted June 16, 2014 My first suggestion would have been Abbey - I bought some of those from them years ago, didn't realise they don't stock them any more. What width is it? I'll have a look in my misc. box and see if I have any left. Gary Quote
Members celticleather Posted June 17, 2014 Members Report Posted June 17, 2014 J T Batchelor (http://jtbatchelor.co.uk/) have these in brass, in three sizes. The 38mm width is No 0662, the 45mm is No 0663 and the 50mm is No 0664. Their website is not very helpful, so it's best to phone and speak to Ted or Rocky. Quote
