Matt, I know exactly what you mean about trying too hard. I look back, in particular, at a folio I made over 10 years ago, which I still get compliments on. I know I've learned alot, and done alot since then, yet when I look at it I think: Wow! That really came out well, when I didn't know half of what I was doing!

Thanks Windy, I'm always looking for a good deal. Got some old Tandy oil based stain for a song not long ago. The old oil stain is great compared to some of the new GREEN formulas, but thats just my opinion.
