I wouldn't be too sure of that myself. My mom collected hundreds of them and I sure don't remember seeing any like that. That is, with a handle that aparently hooks into the plate.. Does it have feet on the bottiom? Because that is a universal feature of trivets, the idea being to keep the hot container away from the countertop or table.
