Members needles Posted July 27, 2014 Members Report Posted July 27, 2014 this is up for sale, are they any good.... Quote
Members Constabulary Posted July 27, 2014 Members Report Posted July 27, 2014 Seems to be an Asian clone of the Pfaff 335 or Adler 69. I think it is more a light to medium machine. You often find these as a binding machine so I think you can´t sew very heavy with them. If you have a model name I think one can find out more. Quote
Members needles Posted July 27, 2014 Author Members Report Posted July 27, 2014 thanks, don't have a number I'm afraid, none given........... my staple of work is repairing handbags and satchels etc, ocassionally thicker things, but i hav also have 29k, looking for something to make a little easier Quote
Members Constabulary Posted July 28, 2014 Members Report Posted July 28, 2014 (edited) that may work but w/o the model name its hard to find out the specs of the machine. And from this tiny picture you cannot tell the feeding system (walking foot, needle feed) ... and so on Edited July 28, 2014 by Constabulary Quote
Members needles Posted July 28, 2014 Author Members Report Posted July 28, 2014 its a mk 5, and i errr bought it..... looked up as much as i could seems right.... collect tomorrow. thanks for your help mate really appreciate it Quote
Members needles Posted July 29, 2014 Author Members Report Posted July 29, 2014 picked it up today.. had a quick play and its great, everything i was hoping....... well chuffed, especially as i got it for a fantastic price..... although wasn't an operating manual with it, only parts diagram and list, anyone know where can find one. thanks again Quote
Members Gump Posted August 2, 2014 Members Report Posted August 2, 2014 It is a Chinese clone, check out Sewline machines for a similar looking model and you likely will have a source of a manual. Most resellers of these clones will probably have a similar model with identical mechanical specs. Gump. Quote
Members needles Posted August 3, 2014 Author Members Report Posted August 3, 2014 thanks Gump. i sent an email to the uk importer, they havent rsponded, i guess they are only interested in sales from them...... Quote
Members Darren Brosowski Posted August 3, 2014 Members Report Posted August 3, 2014 Message Bob Kovar at Toledo or any of the other dealers here. This is a standard machine and parts are easy to come by. Quote
Members needles Posted August 3, 2014 Author Members Report Posted August 3, 2014 fantastic thanks Darren, everyone I've contacted here it eh UK, basicall go.... errrrrr. dunno.... Quote
Members needles Posted August 3, 2014 Author Members Report Posted August 3, 2014 unfortunately Bob hasn't heard of them. I think I'll have to measure the current feet, and try to get caparisons from someone with a juki dsc 244, if it has the same size fittings them problem sorted, I can buy zip etc for my new machine.......
