Seems to be an Asian clone of the Pfaff 335 or Adler 69. I think it is more a light to medium machine. You often find these as a binding machine so I think you can´t sew very heavy with them. If you have a model name I think one can find out more.

thanks, don't have a number I'm afraid, none given........... my staple of work is repairing handbags and satchels etc, ocassionally thicker things, but i hav also have 29k, looking for something to make a little easier

that may work but w/o the model name its hard to find out the specs of the machine. And from this tiny picture you cannot tell the feeding system (walking foot, needle feed) ... and so on

its a mk 5, and i errr bought it..... looked up as much as i could seems right.... collect tomorrow. thanks for your help mate really appreciate it

picked it up today.. had a quick play and its great, everything i was hoping....... well chuffed, especially as i got it for a fantastic price.....

although wasn't an operating manual with it, only parts diagram and list, anyone know where can find one.

It is a Chinese clone, check out Sewline machines for a similar looking model and you likely will have a source of a manual. Most resellers of these clones will probably have a similar model with identical mechanical specs. Gump.

Message Bob Kovar at Toledo or any of the other dealers here. This is a standard machine and parts are easy to come by.

unfortunately Bob hasn't heard of them. I think I'll have to measure the current feet, and try to get caparisons from someone with a juki dsc 244, if it has the same size fittings them problem sorted, I can buy zip etc for my new machine.......
