The goat raw hide has what looks like its been de-haired with the ashes method. How much should I be mixing together if I have already cut string and a coffee can? Brian... KnotHead Report post Posted July 31, 2014 I know that Alan Bell tried out volume 44 developer from a beautician once on horse hide, rawhide and goat rawhide. From the photo and what I can remember they all turned out pretty well. Of course he had them soaking on different time tables. One taking longer than the others. Brian...
