Members jpt Posted October 13, 2014 Members Report Posted October 13, 2014 There is a used Global WF 5555 walking foot machine on sale. Can anyone comment on the quality of Global machines? The machine comes with pneumatic lift. Any ideas if one can still lift the foot manually? Quote
Members 276ccm Posted October 13, 2014 Members Report Posted October 13, 2014 (edited) I was considering a Global machine some time back, and as far as I know, they are as good as any clones today.. Some times (I've heard) its the same factory and use same parts as the original too. I dont know this particular model, but I think in general they should be as good as any :-) http://www.globalsew.com/en/wf5555.htm Edited October 13, 2014 by 276ccm Quote
Members Gregg From Keystone Sewing Posted October 14, 2014 Members Report Posted October 14, 2014 (edited) By today's standards, quality of the equipment they make is as good as any new machine brand I can think of. That said, I'm not so sure this is a machine the put together themselves. Edited October 14, 2014 by Gregg From Keystone Sewing Quote
