My amateur eye sees a well-balanced saddle with a sense of calm about it, like everything is where it's supposed to be. As it no doubt is. Your shop, on the other hand, looks totally chaotic! Tosch Tosch,The first saddles I saw with no hand hole was in Idaho.It was first done to stop juniper needles getting against your horses back and also keeping the cold from coming up their.As to do we need to cut them? Steve Steve, When you construct a no handhole saddle is it just the seat that covers the area where the handhole would be or do you leave the groundseat material in that area as well? I ask the question because if you leave the ground seat material in that area it would seem difficult to put the screws into the skirt points in that area. Nice Saddle! A question i have about loop seat: I'm wondering if that part can tear over time if someone often push the stirrup on the front? Or the slot accomodate all the move? forward and back.
