Contributing Member JLSleather Posted October 21, 2014 Contributing Member Report Posted October 21, 2014 (edited) I have a question. I was thinking about lining the inside. Are there any advantages to adding a liner to a holster? Smooth, finished look inside. Allows use of small pieces of lighter leathers. Entire holster is firmer (two light layers are stronger than one thick one, all else equal). Hardware used can be covered with the lining layer to avoid marring the gun finish (snaps, rivets, etc). Dust & dirt can be wiped out (usually).. no "sueded' side to trap crap. Edited October 21, 2014 by JLSleather Quote "Observation is 9/10 of the law."
