Members twofour878 Posted November 4, 2008 Members Report Posted November 4, 2008 All this steampunk stuff makes me think I have next year's halloween costume decided...now I just need to come up with the design. This year will be interesting, I have to make myself a fur-clad barbarian costume, and now a steampunk costume. This is gonna take a long time. By the way thanks for the links everyone, i'll be checking them out as I design. Quote
Hilly Posted November 4, 2008 Report Posted November 4, 2008 I've never heard of steampunk before this thread. I find it interesting but sorta creepy. Quote
Contributing Member UKRay Posted November 4, 2008 Author Contributing Member Report Posted November 4, 2008 I've never heard of steampunk before this thread. I find it interesting but sorta creepy. I'm not sure that Steampunk is particularly creepy, Hilly - just a bit challenging I guess. Most people simply don't feel comfortable dressing up in outlandish gear even if they like making it. I know several Steampunk enthusiasts (Steampunkers?) and they are all such fun. One or two may take themselves a bit too seriously but then that is the same wherever you go. Essentially, I just love the stuff they make and wear for amusement - I have the distinct impression that Steampunks may be laughing quietly at the rest of humanity...
