Members Tramps Leatherworking Posted October 28, 2014 Members Report Posted October 28, 2014 I am new to the forum and wanted to say hello... I've been riding Harleys and wearing leather for over 35 years --- years ago it seems that every time I went to buy something made of leather, I could never find exactly what I wanted, so I decided to just make my own --- it kind of escalated from there. I learned most of what I know from an old biker/leatherworker who I consider a master leatherworker. I do all types of leatherwork/repair mostly in the motorcycle/biker genre. There is lots of good stuff on here and I look forward to learning all I can about this great trade... Members Tramps Leatherworking Posted November 3, 2014 Author Members Report Posted November 3, 2014 Thanks Wild Bill, I find massed produced leather items are too generic --- I like things with their own personality... The leather items we make --- like the motorcycles we ride --- should be an expression of the creator --- no two should be exactly the same... ~Tramp~ Quote ~Tramp~ Experientia magistra stultorum --- (Experience is the teacher of fools)
