camano ridge Report post Posted November 22, 2014 Oxalic acid is usually used to bleach leather, primarily to remove spots and in some case to lighten the color. I am not sure what you mean by using it to finish edges. It is not a finish. Are you looking to wet the edges with oxalic and then burnish, if so what are you trying to accomplish?
