Members kiwican Posted December 9, 2014 Members Report Posted December 9, 2014 So im very new to leather work and even newer to this forum but i wanted to say what a gold mine of information this site is to new folk like. Ive had nothing but trouble with setting snaps right up to the point where I researched on this site. I followed some of the recommendations and it worked like a charm! I used my anvil instead of the little one that came with the snaps. I then set the anvil on my marble board and set the snap. metal on metal seemed to have worked out well. Thank you Now to work on slicking my edges down better, they always come up a bit rough. I have to say that leather working is the most fun Ive had being frustrated tho! Kiwican Quote
