DavidL Report post Posted December 11, 2014 (edited) Im looking for any guesses. If you know for sure that works too http://contents.louisvuitton.com/is/image/lv/1/PP_VP_L/louis-vuitton-speedy-30-monogram-canvas-handbags--M41526_PM1_Interior%20view_Louis%20Vuitton_handbag_Speedy%20Monogram.jpg How would I stitch that sort of handle (the triangle part)? Would it be possible to do it with a single thread from or two threads? 3:13 Edited December 11, 2014 by DavidL
CustomDoug Report post Posted December 11, 2014 (edited) My opinion David, is that they are using two threads for that, starting at the peak of the triangle and hand stitching upwards on each side, towards the hardware. There they are locking the final stitches in by making the last stitch wrapping around and back thru - and often sitting on the outside of the painted edge. The piece would have to be glued before hand, no doubt. Hopefully someone else will weigh in with some better insight. MonicaJacobson Report post Posted December 12, 2014 I did it with two threads the one time I've done it... don't know what other people do, though.
