Dags3777 Posted November 9, 2008 Report Posted November 9, 2008 My daughter washed her partner's wallet in the machine, hence dad can you come to the rescue. The image in the middle is one of our local V8 motor racing teams Holden. He wanted the Jack Daniels rivet off his old wallet incorporated. The thonging came out my best yet. Spot the obvious mistake, I put the closure stud on the wrong side. Oh well. Thanks Darryl Quote
Members calanneh Posted November 9, 2008 Members Report Posted November 9, 2008 It's never a mistake Dags... It's just an "unexpected design alteration"! Looks great to me!! The design came out real nice and the edge lacing looks wonderful! I usually fine at least one spot on my lacing projects where I missed a loop...grin. Keep up the great work!!! William Quote
Members JustWakinUp Posted November 9, 2008 Members Report Posted November 9, 2008 I think it looks good. I too have done the closure on the wrong side of a wallet and it works out fine. The thing about this wallet is, it will last much longer than one he bought elsewhere that is mass produced. Quote

Amen to that, my first wallet I made when I first started out about a year ago is still rocking strong. I want to make a new one but wanted to wait till my other kicked the bucket but besides loooking a little aged it is still in great shape. Im sure he will be very happy with it for a long time to come. Quote
