Members stu925 Posted February 3, 2015 Members Report Posted February 3, 2015 Figured I'd ask before I try making a template. I have a guy looking for a high rise pancake holster for an S&W 686 with a 4" barrel. This is an L frame gun which is a bit bigger frame than the K frame. If anyone has one they'd be willing to share I'd appreciate it. I can make a pattern for it but it'll take some time and I figured why reinvent the wheel if I don't have to. Thanks in advance, Stu Quote
Members paddy1998 Posted March 14, 2015 Members Report Posted March 14, 2015 As it happens, I'm looking to do the exactly the same thing same thing. Any luck finding a pattern? Scott Quote
Members stu925 Posted March 15, 2015 Author Members Report Posted March 15, 2015 No, I ended up making my own. If I had any idea how to do it I would post it here and share but alas I've no idea how to go about that. Here's a link to the thread with the finished holster http://leatherworker.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=61632&hl= I'm in the process of reworking the template for a 2 1/2" L frame right now for another customer. I'll be starting that holster as soon as I finish the Glock IWB holster I'm working on now. Stu Quote
