Members joker Posted February 21, 2015 Members Report Posted February 21, 2015 Just got my new Cobra 4 today. Once I figured out how to assemble it, no instructions, I started to sew a couple pieces of scrap 8oz. Think I got it figured out but need to know what to do at the beginning of the stitch to make sure it's locked in. Do I run a few stitches then back up to the beginning and then take off from there? Also on the other end when the stich is finished, do I just back up 3-4 holes then go to the end again? Any help would be great! Thanks Joker Quote
Contributing Member JLSleather Posted February 21, 2015 Contributing Member Report Posted February 21, 2015 I don't think you'll like triple thread look, and it's unnecessary. Backstitch a couple holes on each end - it's not going anywhere. I often backstitch one extra hole, so I can pull one thread through and have them both on the back. That's probably not necessary either Quote

Members Ken G Posted February 22, 2015 Members Report Posted February 22, 2015 Search youtube for "Al Bane" or "Cobra Class 4". Al Bane has a couple of outstanding videos about the Class 4. Cobra Steve also has a video on set up and adjustment. Quote
Members rmr Posted February 22, 2015 Members Report Posted February 22, 2015 would be willing to bet if you call Steve at Cobra he will be able to send you an instruction manual. Quote

Members Rayban Posted March 28, 2015 Members Report Posted March 28, 2015 Try making the first stitch a back stitch, then forward from there.......to the end, then back stitch one. Quote
