Members lincsleatherman Posted March 30, 2015 Members Report Posted March 30, 2015 Hi all, thought I'd ask on here for recomendations for a new/used machine to do my light weight work. I already have an Adler for the heavier weight leather I use but obviously it doesn't like seeing just a couple of layers of pigskin. With a lot of my bags and accessories I'm wanting to do internal pouches and the like that will mean I'm stitching together just a couple of layers of 1mm pigskin. I'm wondering if a machine designed for denim, fitted with a leather needle might do me, which may give me the option of more variety of stitch? So over to you guys, what do you use? Quote
Members Darren Brosowski Posted March 30, 2015 Members Report Posted March 30, 2015 If you want a cylinder bed machine then something along the lines of a Seiko CW-8B or Pfaff 335 clone is excellent. Both are compound feed and very common Quote
