Contributing Member TwinOaks Posted April 26, 2015 Contributing Member Report Posted April 26, 2015 what do you mean by 'gusset pattern'? AFAIK, 'gusset' refers to basically a strip between front and back panels, and is typically just a rectangular strip, or in some cases, tapered a bit on the ends. Quote
Members DavidL Posted April 26, 2015 Author Members Report Posted April 26, 2015 Accordian gusset was the type I'm looking for.. didnt have my morning cup of coffee Quote
Members camano ridge Posted April 26, 2015 Members Report Posted April 26, 2015 David, the size of gusset is going to vary depending on project so to find a pattern someone else has for a project you want to do might be difficult. I think you are looking for a formula for figuring the accordion gusset. This thread may help. http://leatherworker.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=54491 Quote
Members mrdabeetle Posted May 8, 2015 Members Report Posted May 8, 2015 These are from 'The art of making leather cases vol. 2' by Al Stohlman. There are several different methods of doing this depending on the style of bag. I suggest buying these books from Tandy. They are very helpful for learning construction techniques. Quote
