Windrider30 Report post Posted April 27, 2015 Ok really noob question but can garmet leather be carved or stamped? Or is it better to simply use it on its own with out doing anything to it. Have a pattern for a skirt that I am thinking of trying just to try it but wasn't sure so thought I would ask before I went out and spent the money. Chain Report post Posted April 27, 2015 No. You need vegetable tanned leather for carving and stamping

JAZZMAN Report post Posted April 27, 2015 Hi windrider, have you thought about airbrushing on to the leather, maybe a nice sunburst effect or even stenciling.
Windrider30 Report post Posted April 28, 2015 hmm that is an interesting idea though I do not own an airbrush nor do I really have the talent to use one. Its just an idea I was playing around with hmmm I wonder though can you make veg tan softer on the back side of it?
