Ok really noob question but can garmet leather be carved or stamped? Or is it better to simply use it on its own with out doing anything to it. Have a pattern for a skirt that I am thinking of trying just to try it but wasn't sure so thought I would ask before I went out and spent the money.

No. You need vegetable tanned leather for carving and stamping

Hi windrider, have you thought about airbrushing on to the leather, maybe a nice sunburst effect or even stenciling.

hmm that is an interesting idea though I do not own an airbrush nor do I really have the talent to use one. Its just an idea I was playing around with hmmm I wonder though can you make veg tan softer on the back side of it?
