Ambassador leatheroo Posted January 25, 2008 Ambassador Report Posted January 25, 2008 The thingy on the left is going to be a drink holder or as we call them here a 'stubby holder'...a stubby is a short bottle of beer. It turned out a bit quick and rough, but just for home. On the right is a hip quiver. I know the lacing should be closer together but the website owner wanted to cut costs so i said the lacing had to be basic and quick. cheers leatheroo Quote "]http://leatheroo.blogspot
Froghunter Posted January 25, 2008 Report Posted January 25, 2008 Good looking work! The Hip quiver is original, I like the color too! As for the lacing, I think it looks good. Quote ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Pounding on dead animal flesh, who woulda Thunk it!
HorsehairBraider Posted January 25, 2008 Report Posted January 25, 2008 Well, "stubby holder" is a much more interesting name than "drink holder". I think Americans should change the way they say that! It's very nice no matter what you call it. I am guessing you will lace it up the back? Nice trefoil on the quiver. The lacing looks just fine! Quote They say princes learn no art truly, but the art of horsemanship. The reason is, the brave beast is no flatterer. He will throw a prince as soon as his groom. - Ben Jonson http://www.beautiful-horses.com
