Members brmax Posted May 16, 2015 Members Report Posted May 16, 2015 Morning! Can I get some specifics on the differences in the part itself or themselves and if I can interchange to some extent. The parts are the Hook, bobbin case. I have the Juki 1541S and getting a 1541, I have considered the thought of changing other main parts but I assume the part cost would be to much even if I did the work. So any discussion I would appreciate, Thanks. Good day there Quote
Members Gregg From Keystone Sewing Posted May 18, 2015 Members Report Posted May 18, 2015 Bobbin case and bobbin are the same physical items for both, and can be interchanged. Hooks are different and use different parts. Hope this helps. Quote
Members brmax Posted May 18, 2015 Author Members Report Posted May 18, 2015 Thanks Gregg I was checking out the parts book last week and usually they are great for showing the different parts. Parts books were a big part of my past and appreciate all of them, yet many time you just have to ask the dealers. Im sure they do illustrate in some other manual, anyway I have a better pic now so I can work through the small stuff. With your help and the bobbin information I can share some parts and that's works for me. The hook guard / bobbin case holder pieces that screw on are a bit different looking as I see in person upclose now. Part number for both of the hooks shaft were the same so figuring that there was some possibility?. I would have replied sooner but left at 7 and went to pick it up, Now it's home and looking to get some 92 loaded. thanks for the tips, and good day there Quote
