LoneWolf1973 Report post Posted May 29, 2015 I am using a pound board my grandfather bought in the fifty's. Well, it definitely seen better days. I was wondering, if anyone has any suggestions on an inexpensive board I could use. I have thought about a plastic cutting board or a piece of plywood but haven't tried them yet. electrathon Report post Posted May 29, 2015 I use a poly cutting board all the time, like it. If you want wood, get a wood cutting board at a garage sale.
LoneWolf1973 Report post Posted May 29, 2015 OK that is a poly cutting board I have got (it is plastic to me lol). I picked it up for a few dollars and use it for some of my finer cutting. I will have to try it to pound on.
King's X Report post Posted May 29, 2015 Check out Bretton Village on line. They usually run boards for sale in several sizes. http://www.brettunsvillage.com/leather/tools/tools.html#boards
