IngleGunLeather Report post Posted June 10, 2015 Tooled this up the other day. Bought the wooden letter at Hobby Lobby. The tooling pattern is one of Tandy's Sheridan belt patterns. Backgrounding dyed black, oiled with olive oil, Sheridan brown antique, resisted and finished with RTC.

TexasLady Report post Posted June 11, 2015 Very pretty. Sorry that I don't understand. Is leather glued on top of a wooden letter?
IngleGunLeather Report post Posted June 11, 2015 Very pretty. Sorry that I don't understand. Is leather glued on top of a wooden letter? Yes ma'am. It is a wooden letter that is already painted black from Hobby Lobby. I traced the letter onto the leather, cut it out, trimmed down 3/16", tooled and glued to the wooden letter. TexasLady Report post Posted June 11, 2015 Beautifully done. Thanks for explaining it to me. I hope you won't mind if I do something similar someday. I'll use a different pattern when I appropiate your idea. (Okay?)
