soyuki Report post Posted June 14, 2015 I was looking up patterns for making deck boxes and stumbled across this video: And was wondering, at 1:22, what tool he is using. At first I thought it was a tattoo gun but it's almost like an automatic tooling machine. I would love to know what it is as it would allow me to more easily put my artwork onto leather and it just looks cool. Also if anyone has a pattern like his that they wouldn't mind sharing. I am good at drawing but terrible managing 3-d spaces >_<
terrypen Report post Posted June 14, 2015 WOW, he is extremely fast! It looks like a soldering iron or something like that.
ScottyEvil Report post Posted June 14, 2015 Looks like a wood burner or a modified soldering iron.
billybopp Report post Posted June 14, 2015 It's a pyro r200 pyrography tool, or at least that's what the video shows. He is burning the design into the leather, similar to woodburning. http://www.creavea.com/pyrograveur-multifonction-basse-tension-pyrographe-r200_boutique-acheter-loisirs-creatifs_11076.html Bill
