Members Gregspitz Posted June 15, 2015 Members Report Posted June 15, 2015 does anyone here have experience with rotary strap cutting machines..I have tried to adjust everything and my straps come out crooked especially with softer leather and after feeding the leather it always seems to angle off to the left (when facing the machine) and I have to really force it against the guide to get it to go straight.. any help would be appreciated.. thanks Greg Quote Greg Spitz MD,FACS Custom Watch Straps 922Leather Gregspitz@922Leather.com

Moderator Wizcrafts Posted June 16, 2015 Moderator Report Posted June 16, 2015 When I worked at M&M Leather, the owner had a Randall strap cutter. After truing the backbone, we both held the leather in alignment, one in front, one behind the blades. This minimized any wandering of the leather and produced very straight cuts.
