Members cowboyedout Posted June 16, 2015 Members Report Posted June 16, 2015 I have been sewing two layers of 6/7 oz leather no problem . When I sew one layer I look at the top of the work and the bobbin thread is visible from the top . How do I adjust it back to the middle of my work? Quote
Troy I Posted June 16, 2015 Report Posted June 16, 2015 Try backing off the tension on your top thread. Quote
Contributing Member JLSleather Posted June 16, 2015 Contributing Member Report Posted June 16, 2015 If you're not yet familiar with the machine, you might make a mark on there first - where the tension is set NOW - so that you can put it back. There are markers made for steel (I got some yellow around here somewhere), or some people use a dab of nail polish, etc. Quote
Members Darren Brosowski Posted June 23, 2015 Members Report Posted June 23, 2015 I tend to use the pre tensioner before playing with the main tension - just a personal preference Quote
