Members l2bravo Posted June 30, 2015 Members Report Posted June 30, 2015 So I am a complete new guy to this. I shoot a lot, and wanted to build some shotgun shell pouches. I am having a heck of a time, trying to figure out patterns, that look so easy, but are not. Man I have a new respect for my mom, and how easy she made sewing look when we were kids! So here is a link to a pouch I am looking at making. My stitching is getting pretty decent, but my patterns are not so hot. Here is the question: what will this gusset look like? I have figured out, that a straight strip, does not work very well at all. Sorry for all the questions, but I am beyond frustrated. I am usually pretty good at detail stuff, but this....this sucks. Thanks for the help guys, Josh Quote
Members l2bravo Posted June 30, 2015 Author Members Report Posted June 30, 2015 It won't let me post pics, but here is a link to the pouch in question. Sorry for the trouble, I hope somebody can help me out. The small pouch, not the bag. shotgunworld.com/bbs/viewtopic.php?t=203112 Quote
Members mickthedig Posted July 1, 2015 Members Report Posted July 1, 2015 I find I can workout all the details by make it in card first. stitching the card together using staples. Mick Quote
Members MrMykull Posted July 4, 2015 Members Report Posted July 4, 2015 Tandy Leathercraft Library has a pattern for a Shot Shell Bag for downloading. If you need assistance with assembly they also have a video. Quote
